… Then I prostate myself
Against the beauty of each form—

For when I bring
My heart close to any object

Dear Hearts,

There is a great beauty in the above excerpt from the poem, “THERE”, by Hafiz. He seems to be saying that if we are willing to bring our hearts (rather than just our eyes) close to any object, whatsoever it may be, we will find the essence of “the Friend” or Divine Spirit just beneath the surface. Of course, the essence of spirit is always the essence of love and therefore we can find love in everything and everyone. Marianne Williamson also stated it beautifully in her book, A Return to Love, “… it is not in just some of us, it is in everyone.” To paraphrase that we can go a bit farther and affirm it is not and just some things, it is in everything.

If we can learn to be the love we wish to see in the world will always be able to see the love we wish to be in the world.
